Deep Tissue or Therapeutic Massage

Deep Tissue or Therapeutic Massage is designed to pinpoint and treat your specific problematic areas. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.   Muscular adhesions and tension are often associated with repetitive movements, chronic pain, and injury. This type of massage is often relaxing, but the end goal of this session is not relaxation.

Swedish Massage

Deep Tissue or Therapeutic Massage

Deep Tissue or Therapeutic Massage

Swedish Massage is deeply relaxing. Your body will relax and your tension will give way in a pleasant and gentle manner. Long, flowing strokes of light to medium pressure are used throughout the session which sedates the central nervous system and leads to deep relaxation.

Gua Sha

Deep Tissue or Therapeutic Massage

Trigger Point Therapy

Gua Sha meaning "raking sand", is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to alleviate fluid stagnation and produce light sha, blood brought to the surface. Practitioners believe gua sha releases unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a technique to soften hyper-irritated spot in a taut band of your muscle fibers.  The trigger point is the most tender point in the band.  If affects that muscle but also can cause "referred pain" in tissues supplied by the same nerves.

Cupping

Trigger Point Therapy

Myofascial Release

Cupping is a modified version of the common practice of Chinese cupping therapy, used in traditional Chinese medicine, and the results from this treatment are impressive. Through suction and negative pressure, massage cupping releases your tense muscle tissue; drains excess fluids and toxins; loosen adhesions and lifts connective tissue; and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release can help eliminate your pain and restore motion.  Fascia is a connective tissue that provides support and protection for most structures in your body, including muscles, and it can become restricted.
